Team History
Newcastle United did not have its first head coach until January 1930. However, prior to that, under the leadership of club secretary Frank Watt, the club had won 4 league titles, 2 FA Cup titles, and finished as runners-up in the FA Cup 4 times. The club’s last major honor came in 1969 when it won the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup. Fans affectionately refer to this black-and-white striped team as the ""Magpies.""

Nowadays
On November 8, 2021, Eddie Howe was appointed as the team’s head coach. In 2025, Newcastle United won the EFL Cup for the first time in the club’s history.
