The Brazil national men's football team (Brazil national football team) is a national-level football team managed by the Brazilian Football Confederation. It represents Brazil in major international men's football A-level competitions, and its home stadium is the Maracanã Stadium.

Team History
Founded in 1914, the Brazil national team won its first Copa América (then known as the South American Championship) title in 1919, and claimed the honor again in 1922. In 1949, the Brazil national team won the Copa América title for the third time, and hosted the FIFA World Cup in 1950. During that World Cup, the Brazil national team suffered the "Maracanazo" (Maracanã Disaster) and lost to the Uruguay national team, missing out on the championship. In 1958, led by Pelé, the Brazil national team won its first FIFA World Cup title, and successfully defended the title four years later. In 1970, Pelé led the Brazil national team to win the FIFA World Cup title for the third time, and the team permanently retained the Jules Rimet Trophy. From 1994 to 2002, the Brazil national team reached the FIFA World Cup final three consecutive times, winning two championships and one runner-up finish. In 2004 and 2007, the Brazil national team achieved two consecutive Copa América titles. In 2014, Brazil hosted the FIFA World Cup again, but lost 1-7 to the Germany national team in the semi-finals and only finished in fourth place. In 2018 and 2022, the Brazil national team was eliminated in the quarter-finals of two consecutive FIFA World Cups.

Achievement
The Brazil national team has participated in all 22 editions of the FIFA World Cup, making it the only team to have competed in every tournament.
