The Belgium national men's football team is the national-level football team of Belgium, a Western European country. Founded in 1895, it is managed by the Royal Belgian Football Association and participates in FIFA Tier 1 matches.

Team History
Known as the ""Red Devils of Europe,"" the Belgium national team has achieved impressive results in the history of major international FIFA Tier 1 tournaments and was one of the participating teams in the first World Cup. At the 1986 FIFA World Cup in Mexico, Belgium defeated Spain in the quarter-finals but was eliminated by Argentina 0-2 in the semi-finals; subsequently, they lost to France in the third-place play-off to finish in fourth place. In the European Championship, the team won the third place at the 1972 Belgian European Championship, which they hosted, and became runners-up at the 1980 European Championship. Belgium also won the gold medal at the 1920 Olympic Games and the bronze medal at the 1900 Olympic Games. On November 5, 2015, Belgium ranked first in the FIFA national team rankings for the first time. At the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, Belgium defeated England to win the third place, setting their best World Cup record in team history.
