Carreras’ red card was not a second yellow but a straight red – the report indicated the reason was his comment to the referee: “You’re terrible,” which could result in a two-game suspension.
During the incident, a member of Real Madrid’s bench was also ejected: According to the report, Endrick received a red card for “standing up from the bench, leaving the technical area, shouting at the fourth official, and ultimately being restrained by coaching staff.”
The referee also documented a confrontation with Carvajal in the report: “After the match, while in the dressing room tunnel, I recognized the player Dani Carvajal – he was not in sports attire but casual clothes, approached me and said: ‘With your (referees’) level, you’ll cry at the press conference again.’”
