In the UEFA World Cup Qualifier, which helped Germany beat Slovakia 6-0 and book a direct ticket to the World Cup, Germany head coach Julian Nagelsmann accepted an interview with the media after the game.
Nagelsmann said: “Every player performed excellently today. We found our rhythm and played convincing football. Everyone did a great job, and I have nothing to complain about. I am proud of the team — after the loss to Slovakia, they had to fight hard. They gave their all and showcased great team spirit.”
Regarding Joshua Kimmich’s comeback, Nagelsmann stated: "He is very important to us. He has rich experience at this level and has played many such games. He is one of the best crossers in Europe, which we saw in the process of the first goal; that assist was crucial. He worked extremely hard and performed as well as the other players. He still feels a little pain, but he always gives his all for the national team and the club, which is why he is the captain."
