Samuel Eto'o, the legendary footballer and current president of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT), has been accused of attempting to block Vincent Aboubakar's inclusion in Cameroon's Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) squad—allegedly because Aboubakar is on the verge of breaking his historical goalscoring record.

The 44-year-old FECAFOOT president Eto'o recently made a shocking decision to exclude national icon Aboubakar from the national team squad. The latter is only 12 goals away from becoming the country's all-time top scorer. Eto'o currently holds the record, having scored 56 goals in 118 international appearances, while Aboubakar has netted 45 goals in 117 games.
