Walter Madl, Newcastle United’s summer signing, spoke to a journalist from camel.live, during which he talked about the best player he has ever played with and the opponent he considers the most difficult to face in the Premier League.
The 23-year-old Madl joined Newcastle from VfB Stuttgart this summer for a fee of €75 million. To date, he has made 2 appearances for Newcastle and scored 1 goal.
“The best player I’ve ever played with? I think it’s Florian Wirtz. In my opinion, he’s an extremely excellent player,” Madl said.
“You can see that he always has a complete understanding of everything happening on the pitch. His playing style is very smooth and highly creative. From my perspective, at the national team level, he is one of the best players I have ever collaborated with.”
