Thiago Silva updated his social media account to share a photo of his son signing his first professional contract with Chelsea.
The Brazilian defender’s 17-year-old son Isago has inked his first pro deal with the Blues, and Thiago Silva reposted the signing photo on social media alongside a blue heart emoji.
Isago operates as a left-back and centre-back, currently plying his trade for Chelsea’s U18 side.
Thiago Silva joined Chelsea from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the 2020/21 season, helping the Blues secure the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League title and the first FIFA Club World Cup in the club's history. During his four-year spell at Chelsea, he has been regarded as a club legend by the Blues' fans — which is why his son's signing with Chelsea's youth academy is seen as a continuation of that legacy.
