Slavia Prague is set to face Arsenal in a Champions League match, and the team’s manager Jindřich Trpišovský gave a pre-match interview.
Trpišovský said: “If I were to list all of Arsenal’s dangerous aspects one by one, we wouldn’t even make it to training, so I’ll try to summarize. They are a mature side capable of controlling matches, with amazing technical ability. Their players are tall, strong, fast, and currently in excellent form. They prevent opponents from finishing their attacks because Arsenal have strong control. They are so powerful and possibly have Rice, the best defensive midfielder in the world.”
“In my opinion, they are the most in-form and balanced team right now. They have a manager who has been in charge for a long time, a stable core squad, and regularly add top-level players. If someone is absent, they can immediately bring in a replacement of the same quality.”
“For example, if Ogbu can play, the situation will be different. I have to say Arsenal's set-piece tactics are astonishing—I’ve never seen set pieces like this before. They have all the elements: height, strength, timing, heading ability, and most importantly, the passes delivered by Rice.”
