The match ended in defeat, and the Argentine coach was ultimately shown a red card for confronting a fan who had been repeatedly abusing him during the game.
As a result, the Atletico Madrid boss will not be able to sit on the sidelines to guide his team in their Champions League match against Eintracht Frankfurt.
