Recently, Wayne Rooney reminded Arsenal and Manchester City that Liverpool must not be ruled out of the race for the Premier League title during his appearance on a podcast show.
Rooney said: “At present, it seems that Arsenal and Manchester City will pull away at the top of the Premier League table. But Liverpool cannot be underestimated. If they can put together a winning streak, no one can exclude them from the title race. As long as the team gets strong support from the fans, the Reds are fully capable of influencing the outcome of the championship.”
"I will not rule Liverpool out, but I think the final leaders will be Arsenal and Manchester City. Aston Villa has been excellent this season, but when it comes to the final contenders for the title, I still favor the top two teams in the table."
