Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson’s future could be decided imminently, with six clubs currently looking to sign him.
Chelsea hopes to receive a substantial offer for Jackson once the future of Isak becomes clear, with Aston Villa among the teams interested in the forward. However, whether Villa can afford the transfer fee remains a question, as Jackson’s price tag will depend on the standards of Premier League forward transfers this summer.
Additionally, Chelsea have valued Jackson at £60 million plus add-ons. The Chelsea striker is eager to secure regular starting opportunities in the new season.
Despite some potential options being ruled out, Chelsea are prepared to finalise a transfer deal for the Senegalese forward if he insists on leaving, given that he faces intensified competition within the squad from João Pedro and Liam Delap.
Newcastle United and Aston Villa remain possible destinations, and Jackson is likely to depart before the transfer window closes on September 1st. This would bring Chelsea fresh transfer funds, as they aim to sign RB Leipzig’s Harvey Simmons and still hold interest in Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho, despite a valuation gap of at least £10 million between the two clubs.
Yet Chelsea will continue to invest heavily; Argentine international Garnacho is their target. While Manchester United are demanding more than £40 million, Chelsea – aware that he is not in Amorim’s plans – value him at around £30 million.
Simmons is determined to join Chelsea, but Leipzig have priced him at £60 million. Although Chelsea are closer to striking a deal and personal terms have been agreed, the transaction will not be completed until at least later this week.
