Rico Lewis has signed a new five-year contract with Manchester City, which will keep him at the club until the summer of 2030.
Lewis joined Manchester City's Academy at the age of eight. He first progressed through the ranks of the club's age-group teams before making his first-team debut during our treble-winning 2022/23 season.
Since then, the 20-year-old has gradually established himself as an integral part of Pep Guardiola's senior side.
Lewis initially made his mark as a right-back, but has since excelled in several other positions—particularly showcasing his versatility in midfield.
To date, Rico has made 97 appearances for the senior team, scoring five goals.
Along the way, he has helped Manchester City claim seven senior trophies, including two Premier League titles, one FA Cup, one UEFA Champions League trophy, one UEFA Super Cup, one FIFA Club World Cup, and one FA Community Shield.
