Galatasaray and Manchester City have reached an agreement regarding Ilkay Gündogan’s transfer. Currently, the club is waiting for the 34-year-old German midfielder to approve a two-year contract. If Gündogan accepts, Galatasaray is making arrangements for his travel itinerary.
To date, the 34-year-old Gündogan has made 358 appearances for Manchester City across all competitions, scoring 65 goals and providing 47 assists. His current market value on Transfermarkt stands at €5 million.

In addition to Gündogan, Galatasaray is also exploring the possibility of signing Hakan Çalhanoğlu. Negotiations are still ongoing, and this will be a difficult transfer, but Galatasaray is pushing forward—meanwhile, Gündogan’s transfer is nearing completion.
The 31-year-old Çalhanoğlu’s contract with Inter Milan expires in the summer of 2027. Last season, the Turkish midfielder made 47 appearances for Inter across all competitions (40 as a starter), scoring 11 goals and delivering 8 assists.
