Bayern Munich has stated in an official announcement that it has completed the signing of Nicolas Jackson on loan from Chelsea, with a one-season loan term and a buyout option attached to the deal.
The loan fee for this transaction is €16.5 million, and an additional €65 million will be payable if the buyout clause is triggered (Chelsea will retain a portion of the secondary transfer proceeds in the event of a buyout).
The buyout clause may also be obligatorily triggered if the conditions specified in the contract are met (determined by the number of appearances).
If Bayern ultimately opts to exercise the buyout, Jackson will sign a contract with Bayern until 2031, with an annual salary of up to €14 million (including bonuses).
