Arsenal legend Perry Groves has stated on talkSPORT that compared to Benjamin Šeško, Viktor Gyokeres is more experienced and better suited for the Gunners.
Groves analyzed during the show: "I'm not overly concerned about Arsenal's transfer progress at the moment, but I hope to see a new striker signed before August. Gyokeres is 27 years old, five years older than Šeško, and his technical profile is more mature."
"Gyokeres proved himself in the EFL Championship with Coventry and has remained consistently prolific at Sporting CP, scoring goals at every league level. Šeško, being younger, still lacks polish. Arsenal needs ready-made players now—they don't have time to nurture prospective talents."
He added: "If Arsenal makes no progress in signing a new striker before pre-season starts, that's when concerns should arise. Ideally, new signings need a full pre-season with the team, so the pace must accelerate now."
